Job summary

Addverb Technologies in India is seeking a hands-on site engineer to drive automation installation and commissioning. You will read drawings, configure PLC systems, integrate third‑party equipment, and ensure networking readiness.

Proficiency in Kepware/OPC and familiarity with barcode scanners, Profinet/Ethernet will help coordinate with design and PMO teams. You'll collaborate with project stakeholders, supervise mechanical and electrical installation, verify testing phases, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AutoCAD/ Bricscad and reading drawings.
• Experience with PLC hardware/software and integration with third-party equipment.
• Familiar with Kepware and OPC, and basic MS Office usage.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and site readiness; ensure safety and adherence to standards.
• Execute and supervise mechanical and electrical system installation per designs and quality guidelines.
• Plan and coordinate daily site activities, manpower deployment, material handling, and progress tracking to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and contractors to resolve execution issues and maintain logs.
• Conduct installation verification, snag rectification, and commissioning activities including Cold/Hot Loop, Unit, Integration, and Volume Testing.
• Validate project KPIs such as throughput and system performance for successful commissioning and customer acceptance.
• Prepare final documentation and handover packages to After Sales team.

Role & responsibilities

• Knowledge of AutoCAD/ Bricscad, Drawing Reading
• PLC automation (Hardware and Software)
• Knowledge about barcode scanners and their working
• Knowledge about networking (Profinet, Ethernet etc.)
• Knowledge about third party equipment integration with PLC system (Print & Apply, DWS etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook
• Basics of Kepware and OPC system.

Preferred candidate profile

• Review project requirements and take over project documents from relevant stakeholders (Project Manager, Design, PMO, SCM) as per approved handover checklists.
• Ensure site readiness, adherence to safety standards, statutory requirements, and prerequisite conditions before and after mobilization. 3. Execute and supervise mechanical and electrical system installation in accordance with approved designs, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Plan and coordinate daily site activities, manpower deployment, material handling, store management, progress tracking, and gap mitigation to ensure project timelines are achieved.
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and contractors to resolve execution issues, maintain issue logs, and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Conduct installation verification, snag rectification, and commissioning activities including Cold Loop, Hot Loop, Unit, Integration, and Volume Testing
• Validate and demonstrate contractual project KPIs such as throughput, availability, and system performance to achieve successful commissioning and customer acceptance.
• Prepare final documentation and manuals, obtain installation and commissioning sign-offs from customers, and complete project handover to the After Sales team for ongoing support.
