Job summary

Harikrushna Industries is seeking a Senior Production Manager to lead our textile weaving operations in Surat, Gujarat. You will own the complete production function, drive quality improvements and build a disciplined, quality-focused manufacturing culture on the shop floor.

Location: Surat, Gujarat. The role requires managing a large production team with emphasis on productivity, cost control and MIS reporting. Growth opportunities exist within a expanding textile group.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / Textile Technology or equivalent practical textile manufacturing experience.
• Experience in weaving/fabric manufacturing and quality focus.
• Ability to lead a large production team and plan across shifts.

Harikrushna Industries is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Production Manager to lead our textile weaving manufacturing operations.

We are looking for a leader who can take ownership of the complete production function and build a strong, disciplined and quality-focused manufacturing culture.Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for day-to-day weaving production
• Production planning and execution as per customer requirements
• Improve machine efficiency and productivity
• Maintain consistent fabric quality
• Reduce rejection, wastage and rework
• Monitor machine-wise and shift-wise production performance
• Develop and implement production SOPs
• Lead and develop supervisors, masters and operators
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, stores, yarn and dispatch teams
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
• Analyse production data and prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS
• Control manufacturing cost and improve productivity
• Handle customer complaints with proper root-cause analysis
• Ensure discipline, safety and 5S on the shop floor
• Coordinate new fabric trials and technical development
• Work closely with management on new fabric creation and product development
• Build a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and ownership

We Are Looking For

• Has strong experience in weaving/fabric manufacturing
• Understands production as well as quality
• Can independently manage a large production team
• Has strong knowledge of production planning and machine efficiency
• Understands yarn, fabric construction and weaving processes
• Can identify the root cause of quality and production problems
• Is comfortable with MIS, Excel and production data
• Has strong leadership and people-management skills
• Has a problem-solving and improvement mindset
• Is willing to work on the shop floor and not only from an office
• Has experience in developing/improving new fabrics preferred

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / Textile Technology or equivalent practical textile manufacturing experience.
