Job summary

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Conversational AI to lead Generative AI initiatives across digital and assisted banking channels. You will define product strategy, collaborate with Data Science, Engineering, and Business teams, and drive responsible AI adoption to empower hyper-personalized customer experiences.

You will oversee AI-powered products, establish KPIs, and ensure models are scalable, explainable, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant stream.
• Postgraduate degree preferred.
• 5–10 years of product management experience with exposure to AI/ML.
• Experience with digital transformation initiatives and AI product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for Generative AI initiatives.
• Identify high-impact AI use cases across customer engagement, operations, compliance, and risk.
• Lead end-to-end development of AI-driven products with Data Science, Engineering, and Business teams.
• Establish success metrics (KPIs) and drive continuous product iteration based on insights.
• Ensure AI models are scalable, explainable, fair, and secure.
• Partner with Legal & Compliance to meet ethical and regulatory standards.
• Design intelligent conversational interfaces and automated workflows for digital banking.
• Leverage NLP, LLMs, and multi-modal AI for personalized customer interactions.
• Collaborate with Digital Banking, Growth, Marketing, and Customer Support for AI integration.
• Educate internal teams on AI capabilities and promote responsible AI usage.
• Stay updated on AI trends, technologies, and regulatory developments.

About the Role

What We Are Looking For

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant stream
• Postgraduate degree in any stream (preferred)

Experience

• 5 to 10 years of experience in product management, with exposure to AI/ML technologies and digital transformation initiatives

Skills and Attributes

• Strong understanding of Generative AI, NLP, LLMs, and conversational interfaces
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver scalable AI products
