Job summary

Weekday AI (YC W21) in Bengaluru and Pune is seeking a Senior Product Manager with 6-12 years of experience to lead the strategy and development of US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) products.

You will collaborate with engineering, design, and stakeholders to define roadmaps, write PRDs, and optimize critical workflows such as patient registration, eligibility checks, claim submissions, and collections.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management across the full lifecycle.
• Experience building US Healthcare/RCM products is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Healthcare Management/Business/Engineering; MBA or related advanced qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Product Manager with 6-12 years of experience to lead the strategy, development, and enhancement of products within the US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will combine strong product management expertise with deep knowledge of US healthcare workflows, revenue cycle processes, and healthcare technology. You will work closely with engineering, design, clinical/business stakeholders, operations, and leadership teams to define product strategy and deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency, revenue performance, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and ideation through requirements gathering, development, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Define and execute the product vision, roadmap, priorities, and strategy in alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
• Develop detailed PRDs, product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications for engineering and design teams.
• Leverage a strong understanding of US Healthcare RCM processes, including patient registration, insurance verification, eligibility, charge capture, coding, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, accounts receivable, and collections.
• Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, QA, data, operations, and business teams to ensure successful product delivery.
• Conduct customer and stakeholder discovery to identify pain points, workflow gaps, market opportunities, and areas for automation.
• Translate complex healthcare and RCM requirements into scalable, intuitive, and commercially viable product solutions.
• Monitor product performance using KPIs, analytics, customer feedback, and operational metrics, and use insights to prioritize enhancements.
• Partner with implementation and customer-facing teams to support product launches, adoption, training, and issue resolution.
• Manage product backlogs and work closely with Agile teams to ensure timely delivery of high-impact features.
• Evaluate competitive products and industry trends to identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation.
• Ensure products align with applicable US healthcare standards, workflows, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.

Must-Have Skills

• Product Management - Strong experience owning products across the complete product lifecycle.
• RCM - Deep understanding of Revenue Cycle Management processes and workflows.
• US Healthcare - Strong knowledge of the US healthcare ecosystem, payer/provider workflows, and healthcare technology.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile product development environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and business teams.
• Hands‑on experience creating PRDs, roadmaps, user stories, and product documentation.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience integrating healthcare platforms, payer systems, clinical systems, or healthcare APIs.
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards and data exchange.

Experience & Qualifications

• 6-12 years of overall professional experience, with significant experience in Product Management.
• Prior experience building or managing products for US Healthcare and/or RCM is strongly preferred.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; an MBA or relevant advanced qualification is a plus.
