Job summary

• Conduct discovery with billers, clinicians, provider stakeholders, and operations users
• Map workflows end-to-end and identify edge cases
• Write PRDs, user stories, field-level requirements, and acceptance criteria
• Maintain product backlogs and release sign-off checklists
• Partner with engineering on sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release acceptance
• Run UAT with SMEs and track defects systematically
• Prepare provider demo notes and capture feedback
• Define and track KPIs such as clean claim rate, denial rate, deliverability, and time-to-action
• Coordinate cross-product priorities with the CEO and Tech Lead
• Support HIPAA-conscious product decisions for PHI-touching workflows

Required:

• 4+ years in product management, product ownership, or healthcare software delivery
• 2+ years direct US healthcare RCM / EHR workflow experience
• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, CMS-1500 / UB-04, and EDI basics such as 837, 835, 270, 271
• Strong experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow maps, and UAT plans
• Comfortable working with clinicians, billers, engineers, and executives
• Strong written communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work hands-on in a small early-stage team

Preferred :

• Patient billing or collections workflow exposure
• Experience with offshore / distributed engineering teams
• Healthcare startup or early-stage product experience
