Job Description – Product Manager, Platform & Enterprise Systems
Position: Senior Product Manager – Platform & Enterprise Systems
Experience: 7+ Years
Location: Gurgaon
Function: Product & Technology
Industry: Technology
Employment Type: Full-time
We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to own and elevate one of the most operationally critical parts of our product ecosystem: the systems and workflows that power everything. This is a high-trust, high-visibility role — the individual in this seat will become the primary product decision-maker for a wide surface area spanning Sales, Business, and cross-functional stakeholder needs, working in close partnership with our Global Business Head.
This is a rare opportunity to combine deep technical ownership with real strategic influence. You'll be entrusted with day-to-day prioritization judgment on behalf of senior leadership, giving you outsized decision-making scope relative to a typical PM role at this level. You'll also have a mandate to bring modern, AI-driven thinking into a substantial, complex product area — identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency that haven't been explored before.
This role suits a Product person who thrives on complexity and ownership, enjoys being the person stakeholders trust with hard calls, and is energized by solving deep, structurally complex problems.
Serve as the primary product owner for a broad portfolio of enterprise and operational systems.
Partner closely with the Global Business Head to translate business priorities into a clear, well-sequenced roadmap, exercising independent day-to-day judgment on what matters most.
Convert competing, ambiguous requirements from multiple stakeholders into a coherent, defensible plan.
Make and communicate difficult trade-off decisions with clarity and confidence.
Build a genuinely deep, hands-on command of the underlying systems and codebase — going well beyond requirements-gathering into real technical fluency.
Own product quality end-to-end: understand technical risk, architectural constraints, and the true cost of new requests.
Partner closely with engineering to balance system integrity with business velocity.
Bring a first-principles, AI-native lens to a large and complex product area, proactively identifying where automation, AI, and modern tooling can unlock efficiency or new capability.
Champion new approaches independently, without waiting for a formal mandate to innovate.
Operate as a sharp, credible partner to senior stakeholders across Sales, Business, and Technology.
Influence effectively at the senior level — building trust and alignment even when delivering difficult or unpopular decisions.
Communicate priorities, trade-offs, and rationale in a way that earns confidence from leadership.
Operate effectively and consistently in a complex, matrixed environment with many stakeholders and long-running technical complexity.
Maintain strong engagement, energy, and standards over sustained periods, including in phases that are less visible or less immediately rewarding.
Build productive, effective working relationships across a wide range of engineering and business collaborators.
7+ years in Product Management, with substantial experience owning complex, technically deep, or platform-style product areas.
Demonstrated ability to go deep technically — genuinely comfortable partnering with engineering on architecture and system trade-offs, not just at the roadmap layer.
Proven track record of prioritization and decision-making under real, competing pressure, with the ability to speak to specific examples.
Strong, demonstrable fluency in applying AI/automation to solve business problems independently.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, particularly with senior and cross-functional audiences.
A track record of sustained, high-quality delivery in complex or ambiguous environments over an extended period.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability; comfortable operating in ambiguity.
Travel industry experience (B2B travel, travel marketplaces, booking platforms, distribution, hospitality, or travel technology) preferred, not required.
We are looking for someone who:
Is energized by scope and ownership, and comfortable being the person a wide range of stakeholders rely on for judgment calls.
Treats complex, technically deep systems as a craft to master.
Brings AI-native thinking as a default instinct.
Is diplomatic and sharp at once — able to build trust with senior stakeholders while still holding a clear point of view.
Has the temperament and consistency to perform at a high level over the long run.
Given the scope and complexity of this role, the following are considered essential:
Strong AI/automation fluency and sharp day-to-day prioritization judgment are highly valued and heavily weighted in selection, alongside the above.
Success will be measured by the ability to:
Become the trusted product decision-maker for this portfolio → Elevate system quality and technical health → Introduce AI-led efficiencies not previously explored → Maintain strong prioritization discipline amid competing demands → Sustain this level of performance and engagement over time.
Preferred Industry: Travel / Travel Technology / Hospitality / OTA / B2B Marketplace
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline. MBA is a plus.
