Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd (LTI) is seeking a Senior Specialist - Product Engineering Track Ravinder to design, develop and maintain DB2 stored procedures and functions on IBM i AS400. You will optimize SQL queries for performance and collaborate with analysts and developers to deliver robust database solutions.

The role involves troubleshooting, code reviews, deployment of database changes, and documenting best practices to ensure data integrity and reliability across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of DB2 for IBM i AS400 database development experience.
• Strong expertise in writing and optimizing stored procedures, triggers and UDFs.
• Advanced SQL skills including query tuning and performance optimization.
• Experience in report development and data extraction for BI.
• Familiarity with IBM i AS400 system tools and utilities.
• Understanding of database security, backup and recovery processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proven ability to design and model application databases for transactional and reporting systems.
