Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for paper, printing materials, education handouts, vinyl, banners, bags, packaging, and other education-related materials.
• Manage sourcing for events, stalls, exhibitions, and community marketing activities.
• Source and procure raw materials while ensuring cost efficiency and uninterrupted supply.
• Build and manage domestic and global supplier relationships.
• Lead RFQs, RFPs, tenders, BOQ evaluation, and commercial negotiations.
• Drive cost optimization through strategic sourcing and vendor consolidation.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Quality, and Finance to ensure timely procurement.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing procurement team.

About the Role

We\u2019re hiring a Senior Manager Procurement to lead strategic sourcing across Paper, Printing, Plastic, Bags, Packaging, Educational Materials, and Marketing Collaterals for one of India\u2019s leading K–12 education groups. This role will own procurement for printed materials, event branding, raw materials, and supplier strategy while driving cost optimization and uninterrupted supply across a large, multi-location network.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for paper, printing materials, educational handouts, vinyl, banners, bags, packaging, and other education-related marketing materials.


• Manage sourcing for events, stalls, exhibitions, and community marketing activities.


• Source and procure critical raw materials while ensuring cost efficiency and uninterrupted supply.


• Build and manage domestic as well as global supplier relationships.


• Lead RFQs, RFPs, tenders, BOQ evaluation, and commercial negotiations.


• Drive cost optimization through strategic sourcing, vendor consolidation, and value engineering.


• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Quality, and Finance to ensure timely procurement.


• Lead and mentor a high-performing procurement team.

Who Can Apply

• 10–15+ years of procurement experience in paper, printing materials, bags, packaging, vinyl, banners, handouts, and education-related materials.


• Minimum 10 years of experience handling procurement for events, stalls, exhibitions, and community marketing initiatives.


• Current/recent experience (last 3–5 years) in a similar procurement leadership role is mandatory.


• Hands-on experience in raw material sourcing.


• Global sourcing/international vendor management experience is mandatory.


• Strong experience in commercial negotiations and BOQ (Bill of Quantities).


• Strong ERP/SAP and advanced Excel skills.


• Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Packaging, Retail, or Education.
