Job summary

FLSmidth in Chennai is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to provide process support, develop operational transition strategies, and monitor performance during commissioning, start-up and operation phases.

The role requires 8+ years in process engineering (mining preferred), strong design/simulation skills, and proficiency with Aspen Plus, HYSYS, AutoCAD or MicroStation. Excellent English communication and travel willingness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the mining industry.
• Solid knowledge of process design, simulation, and optimization.
• Experience using process simulation software Aspen Plus and HYSYS; CAD tools AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Proven ability to lead projects and technical teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; willingness to travel.
