Job summary

Iassess Consultants in Mumbai seeks a mechanical engineer with hands-on AutoCAD drafting to support pharma equipment projects. You will design pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and storage tanks, and prepare GA, P&ID, and layout drawings for equipment.

This role requires knowledge of process vessels and manufacturing systems, familiarity with ASME/API/TEMA/PED standards, and strong communication and coordination with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD drafting for process equipment.
• Experience in pharma equipment industry preferred.
• Familiar with ASME, API, TEMA, and PED standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare GA Drawings, P&ID Drawings, and Layout Drawings using AutoCAD.
• Design and draft process equipment such as Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, and Storage Tanks.
• Prepare mechanical data sheets, BOQ, BOM, and project costing.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals/quotations.
• Coordinate with clients and internal departments for project execution and proposal preparation.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards and are cost-effective.
• Modify and revise designs to improve performance and resolve technical issues.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD with hands-on drafting experience.
• Experience in Pharma Equipment Industry preferred.
• Knowledge of process vessels, liquid manufacturing, ointment manufacturing, and sugar syrup systems.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, TEMA, and PED standards will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
