Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or reporting roles.
• Advanced experience with DAX, Power Query (M), and Power BI Service.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric infrastructure and offerings.
• Ability to call REST APIs and work with JSON.
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures, and relational databases.
• Experience in data extraction, cleaning, and transformation techniques.

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Power BI Developer for our client, a leading construction, steel fabrication, and industrial services organization.

We are seeking a senior Power BI Developer with expertise in integrating various data sources (SAAS platforms, Sharepoint, Fabric Datalake, SQL Server, etc…) with Power BI to develop interactive dashboards for global stakeholders.

You will be responsible for partnering with business, operations, and IT teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions, operate within a global delivery model (distributed teams, time zones, and standardized governance), and help mature reporting capabilities through reusable datasets, governed semantic models, and consistent KPI definitions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or reporting roles
• Power BI Expertise: Advanced experience with DAX, Power Query (M), and Power BI Service.
• Microsoft Fabric: Familiarity with the Microsoft Fabric infrastructure and offerings
• API Development & Integration: Ability to call REST APIs, work with JSON, and use Power Automate/Azure Logic Apps for automation.
• SQL & Data Modeling: Strong knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures, and relational databases.
• ETL & Data Transformation: Experience in data extraction, cleaning, and transformation techniques.
• Samsara Software Knowledge (preferred but not mandatory)
