Job description

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Consultant with strong expertise in data Analytics, data Science, SQL, database management, and Python to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing interactive dashboards, reports, conducting advanced analytics, and data models, while also contributing to data automation, transformation, data-driver decision making and integration tasks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports with focus on storytelling, performance, and usability to deliver actionable insights.
2. Work with client/Program Managers to gather requirements and transform them into analytics solutions by collecting, transforming, and analyzing large datasets from multiple industries (e.g., food production, packaging, CPG).
3. Organize and clean massive amounts of sales and operational data using Python (pandas, NumPy), Power Query, and Excel.
4. Build end-to-end automated data pipelines for API-based extraction, web scraping, and scheduled refreshes.
5. Develop scalable dashboards and reports in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX measures, and visual storytelling for client decision-making.
6. Optimize methods to interpret and validate insights that assist clients with demand planning, supply chain optimization, and business decisions.
7. Support Program Managers/Principals in preparing and presenting findings to global clients.
8. Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and optimize data from multiple sources.
9. Build and optimize data models for reporting and analytics.
10. Develop Python scripts for data transformation, automation, and integration with BI solutions.
11. Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, flat files, cloud platforms) into a unified reporting layer.
12. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
13. Apply data science and AI/ML techniques (regression, clustering, classification, forecasting, etc.) to solve complex business problems.
14. Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and security in reporting solutions.
15. Monitor and troubleshoot Power BI datasets, dataflows, and scheduled refreshes.
16. Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, Python libraries, and database technologies.

Requirements/Qualifications

1. 2–4 years proven experience as a Power BI Developer (hands-on with DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
2. Strong proficiency in SQL (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
3. Deep understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
4. Proficiency in Python for data analysis, ETL, or automation tasks.
5. Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration processes.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred/Nice to have Skills

1. Experience with Azure Cloud, Data Factory.
2. Familiarity with AI/ML model deployment and integration with Power BI.
3. Knowledge of Supply Chian domain is plus.
4. Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD for Analytics, and Git version control.
