Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited seeks a GPU ASIC engineer with strong physical design and implementation experience. You will own high-performance GPU core PD activities, including floor-planning, placement, routing, CTS, and verification, while optimizing power and performance through PPA trade-offs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from a reputed institution.
• 3+ years of experience in Physical Design/Implementation.
• PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Physical Implementation activities for high-performance GPU Core, including Floor-planning, Place and Route, CTS, Formal verification, and Physical Verification (DRC/LVS).
• PDN and timing closure, power optimization; make right PPA trade-offs for core designs.
• Collaborate with design, DFT and PNR teams to resolve constraints, verification, STA and physical design issues.
• Proficient in Tcl/Perl scripting to automate PD flows; work as part of a team towards project milestones.
