Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited in Bangalore invites an experienced Core CPU Physical Design Engineer (Lead/Staff/Sr Staff) to join the Engineering Group. You will plan, design, verify and test high-speed cores, and drive timing signoff, PDN and power integrity issues while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires deep expertise in physical design, STA, and RTL to GDSII flows, with strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field with 4+ years hardware engineering experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with 2+ years.
• 7–14 years' experience in Physical Design and timing signoff for high-speed cores.
• Strong exposure to high frequency design convergence for PD with PPA targets and PDN methodology.
• Experience leading block- or chip-level Physical Design, STA and PDN activities.
