Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Hardware Engineer to plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems and bring-up yields for cutting-edge CPU cores. You will work on floor-planning, PD, PDV, sign-off, and related tasks across Digital/Analog/RF domains.

The role demands hands-on experience with high-performance chip development, strong programming skills in Python and Tcl, and proficiency with PDV and place-and-route tools at advanced nodes (5nm or lower).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field with 6+ years Hardware Engineering experience.
• Master's degree with 5+ years Hardware Engineering experience.
• PhD with 4+ years Hardware Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Enable floor-planning, physical design (PD), PD verification (PDV), and sign-off for Qualcomm’s Oryon CPU cores.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance requirements.
• Work on test systems, FPGA, and DSP across Digital/Analog/ RF/ optical domains.
