Job summary

Freshersworld is seeking a Senior PHP Developer to write clean, scalable PHP code, build modules, and resolve complex performance issues. You will participate in all lifecycle phases and implement new features to improve processes and tooling.

The role requires strong PHP expertise, experience with major frameworks, and competence in RESTful/SOAP APIs, HTML/CSS/JS, and cloud services. Collaboration and independent work are essential in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in CS, Engineering or related subject.
• Minimum 4 years of PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL backend experience.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong knowledge of advanced PHP and web frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Zend, Symfony, Drupal).
• Proficient with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery; OOP expert.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs; DB schemas; SQL/NoSQL;
• Git/SVN; knowledge of Angular, Node.js; AWS/EC2 or cloud services.

Senior PHP Developer

Role & Responsibilities:

• Write clean, well-designed code
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

Minimum Qualification:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• Minimum 4 years of experience in PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL backend experience
• Excellent communication skills and being able to work independently or in a full team
• Strong knowledge of advanced PHP.
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks, such as Laravel, Codeigniter, Zend, Symfony, Drupal, etc
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, Jquery
• Expert-level knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Must be worked on creating and consuming RESTful and SOAP based APIs.
• Creating database Schemas that represent and support business processes
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
• Proficient understanding of version control tools, such as Git, SVN
• Knowledge of Angular and node.js
• Experience in common third-party APIs
• Basic knowledge of Android will add an advantage
• Experience with AWS/EC2, or other cloud services
