Job summary

Freshersworld in Chennai seeks an experienced Senior PHP Developer to write clean, scalable PHP modules and implement RESTful APIs. You will participate in the full development lifecycle and work with modern web technologies.

Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Zend, Symfony), HTML/CSS/JS, and version control (Git/SVN) is required; AWS/EC2 and Android knowledge are a plus; you should be a team player and capable of guiding others.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL backend experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a full team.
• Strong knowledge of advanced PHP.
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, Zend, Symfony, Drupal, etc.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, Jquery.
• Expert-level knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Experience creating and consuming RESTful and SOAP based APIs.
• Creating database Schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
• Proficient understanding of version control tools, such as Git, SVN.
• Knowledge of Angular and Node.js.
• Experience with AWS/EC2 or other cloud services.
• Follow industry best practices.
• Should be a good team player.
• Should be able to guide team members in complex solutions.
