Job summary

Freshersworld seeks a Senior PHP Developer to join our backend team. You will write clean PHP code, build modular components, and tackle performance and architectural challenges in a collaborative environment.

The role requires 4+ years of PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL experience, with strong knowledge of PHP frameworks, RESTful and SOAP APIs, and modern web tech. AWS/EC2 experience is a plus, and you’ll mentor teammates in complex solutions.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL backend experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a full team.
• Strong knowledge of advanced PHP.
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, Zend, Symfony, Drupal, etc.
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery.
• Expert-level knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP based APIs.
• Creating database schemas that support business processes.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and declarative query languages.
• Proficient with version control tools like Git, SVN.
• Knowledge of Angular and Node.js.
• Experience with common third-party APIs.
• Basic knowledge of Android is a plus.
• Experience with AWS/EC2 or other cloud services.
• Follow industry best practices.
• Team player and capable of guiding team members in complex solutions.
