Job summary

Genesis Global Limited is seeking a hands-on Performance Test Architect to define testing strategy and actively build and execute across distributed systems. You will design scalable frameworks using k6/JMeter, embed tests into CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and shape observability with Grafana/Prometheus stack.

• Hands-on performance testing architect with coding experience.

We’re looking for a **hands-on Performance Test Architect** who can define strategy *and* actively build and execute.

This isn’t a pure oversight role — you’ll be designing performance frameworks, running tests, and working closely with engineering teams to solve real scalability challenges.

• Own and drive the performance testing strategy across distributed systems
• Design *and implement* scalable test frameworks (k6(preferred), JMeter, ...)
• Embed performance testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Build observability using the Grafana stack (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo)
• Analyse results, identify bottlenecks, and lead performance tuning efforts
• Define SLIs/SLOs and ensure systems meet reliability targets

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Performance Architect who still codes and tests
• Strong background in cloud-native environments (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Deep understanding of system behaviour under load
• Experience with OpenTelemetry and modern observability practices
