Job summary

Genesis Global is seeking a hands-on Performance Test Architect to define strategy and actively build and execute tests. This role isn’t only about oversight—you’ll design performance frameworks, run tests, and partner with engineering to tackle real scalability challenges.

You’ll own the testing strategy across distributed systems, implement frameworks (k6, JMeter), embed tests into CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and build observability with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Performance Architect who still codes and tests.
• Strong background in cloud-native environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Deep understanding of system behaviour under load.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry and modern observability practices.

This isn’t a pure oversight role — you’ll be designing performance frameworks, running tests, and working closely with engineering teams to solve real scalability challenges.
