For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a Senior PeopleSoft Developer to assist with the implementation of a Work Force Planning system. Candidates need to have at least 7 years of PeopleSoft experience.

Candidates need to be willing to work in Chennai!

We are looking for a motivated contractor. This position is long-term. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Provide excellent technical and procedural support and solutions in several applications;
• Act as the main technical expert in acquired application(s), as well as the primary contact for those systems;
• Extensive technical role and assist management/clients in the decisions that will provide the best and most cost-effective solutions that meet corporate goals and objectives;
• Provide excellent technical solutions for enhancement projects and ongoing maintenance during the engagement period;

Profile

• +7 years of PeopleSoft experience in designing and building applications using Peoplesoft and Database technologies;
• Extensive experience in full system development life cycle – Analysis, Design, Programming, Testing, Implementation, and Maintenance;
• Advanced knowledge of PeopleTools, Peoplesoft Application Designer, App Engine, Integration Broker, Peoplecode, Bi Publisher, Fluid Pages/Design and overall excellent technical skills on the Peoplesoft Development platform;
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and Oracle platform;
• Excellent relational database design and modeling;
• Excellent ability to write complex and optimally tuned SQL queries, producing adhoc reports, load data into the database;
• Advanced knowledge of SQR programming for producing complex reports and batch processes;
• Proven conceptual, analytical and judgmental skills;
• Proven Ability to pick up new business processes and technologies quickly;
• Knowledge of Peoplesoft HCM;
• Advanced knowledge of Peoplesoft HR/Payroll table infrastructure and Peoplesoft Workflow;
• knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and ability write Oracle Stored Procedures – Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers;
