Role Specific Responsibilities / Work you’ll do

• Designing and delivering technical solutions related to PeopleSoft configuration or technical architecture
• Data mapping and building new interfaces with external systems using core PS developmental tools
• Performing troubleshooting and problem resolution of complex application and interface issues
• Providing PeopleSoft application administration and support of multiple PeopleSoft environments
• Performing level-2 support and troubleshooting application/interface issues
• Performing vendor update application activities to maintain accuracy of the system
• Providing input and advice regarding PeopleSoft capabilities and functions to the client/next level
• Performing day-to-day operational support functions within PeopleSoft, including application administration
• Meet project deliverables as per requirements, on time within budget
• Demonstrating passion for quality and productivity by use of efficient PeopleSoft development standards and best practices

Qualifications:

• A Computer Science University degree and/or equivalent work experience
• A strong commitment to professional client service excellence
• Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent Analytical Skill

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years core technical experience using below developmental tools:
• PeopleCode / Application Engine (AE) / Application Designer (AD) / App Packages / SQR / PIA
• Minimum 4 years professional experience using PeopleSoft v9x Translating functional requirements into PeopleSoft technical design.
• Minimum 4 years core experience using PeopleCode / PeopleTools / AE / AD
• Minimum 4 years professional experience using PeopleSoft v9x.
• Working experience with PeopleSecurity/Fluid is added advantage.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle management
• Functional knowledge of HR, Benefits and Payroll applications
• PeopleSoft HRMS product knowledge for functional/gap mappings
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft best practices and existing functionalities
• Experience in Applications Integrations with SOA and web services is an asset
• Building relationships with clients and keeping abreast of the various client developments
• SQL programming skills including stored procedures and dynamic SQL
• SQR programming and development skills.
• Knowledge in BI publisher reports & Retrofit activities.
• A Computer Science University degree or equivalent work experience
• A strong commitment to professional client service excellence
• Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
