Job summary

Agiliad LLC is seeking a Senior PCB Designer in Pune with 5 years of hands-on experience in analog, digital, mixed-signal, high-speed and RF board design. You will create schematic symbols and footprints, manage ECAD libraries, and drive IPC/EMC compliance across multilayer boards (6+ layers) while optimizing stack-up, impedance, and thermal performance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity, perform CAM/ fabrication checks, and prepare BOMs and fabrication

Qualifications

• Five years of PCB design experience with hands-on layout and symbol/footprint creation.
• Strong knowledge of IPC standards, EMI/EMC considerations and DFM/DFT.
• Experience with high-speed, high-power, RF and multi-layer board design.
• Proficiency in ECAD libraries, BOM creation, and PLM/Agile tooling.
• Ability to optimize stack-up, impedance, length matching and thermal management.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schematic symbols and PCB footprints per IPC/industry standards.
• Manage ECAD libraries and maintain design data integrity.
• Design multilayer boards (6 layers+) including high-speed and RF sections.
• Ensure signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, and thermal performance.
• Perform checks on Gerber data, BOM, and fabrication specifications.
• Collaborate with design, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to meet specs.

Job Title: Senior PCB Designer

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing Schematic Symbols, PCB Footprints as per IPC Standard or Industry Standards.
• Hands on experience in ECAD Library management.
• Experience is Analog, Digital, Mixed signal, High Speed and power supply board designs.
• Design PCB layout in accordance with IPC and standard guidelines.
• Good knowledge of IPC standards and EMI/EMC design considerations.
• Experience of multilayer board design ( 6 layers and above) board design.
• Experience in High power board designs.
• Experience in High-Speed Board Design (USB, RS-485, CAN, Ethernet, PCIe).
• Experience in RF board design (Bluetooth, Wi-fi).
• Experience in board stack up selection, length matching, Impedance matching, constraint setting, cross talk analysis, signal Integrity, Power Integrity, Thermal management.
• Create/Follow checklists and instructions to ensure error free design.
• Thorough knowledge of Design Rules, Constraint management.
• Good knowledge of Gerber files generation, assembly files creation and preparing specifications for PCB Fabrication Vendors.
• Gerber files verification using CAM365 / Gerbview / Viewmate.
• Hands-on experience in PADS Layout, OrCAD Allegro tools.
• Understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes (DFM, DFA, DFT).
• Selection of components, preparing schematics with the help of Hardware Design Engineer
• Hands on experience on preparing bills of materials (BOM).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement PCB designs that meet product specifications
• Hands-on experience with PLM tools such as Agile.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and support global clients and cross-functional teams.
