Job summary

Marutee Design And Engineering Private Limited seeks an experienced PCB Design Engineer to drive high-performance electronic product development from concept to manufacturing.

You will own the entire PCB lifecycle, including schematic interpretation, stack-up definitions, high-speed routing, and release documentation, while collaborating with global teams to ensure DFM/DFA compliance and IPC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• Multi-layer PCB layout and high-speed board design experience.
• Understanding of SMT/PTH, IPC standards, DFM/DFA principles.
• Experience with Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, AutoCAD.
• Ability to take designs from concept to Gerber release.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End PCB Layout: from schematic handoff to manufacturing release.
• Define stack-ups, placement strategies, and high-speed routing; conduct pre-layout feasibility studies.
• Global Collaboration: work with international teams for scalable, reliable DFM/DFA-compliant designs.
• Documentation & Release: produce manufacturing packages with fabrication drawings and release docs.
• Supplier & Prototype Support: coordinate with vendors during prototype builds and resolve queries.
• Library Management: build and maintain standardized PCB components and footprint libraries per IPC guidelines.

About the Role

At TE Connectivity, our R&D and Product Development Engineering teams bring cutting-edge concepts to life as industry-leading solutions. We are looking for an experienced PCB Design Engineer to drive the development of high-performance electronic products from initial concept to full-scale manufacturing.

In this role, you will own the entire PCB lifecycle—from schematic interpretation and stack-up definition to high-speed layout, fabrication release, and prototype support. Working alongside cross-functional global teams, you will ensure our designs are robust, cost-effective, manufacturable, and aligned with IPC standards.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End PCB Layout: Execute complete PCB designs from schematic handoff through final manufacturing release.
• Architecture & Feasibility: Define board stack-ups, placement strategies, and high-speed routing solutions; conduct pre-layout feasibility studies.
• Global Collaboration: Work seamlessly with international engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and DFM/DFA-compliant designs.
• Documentation & Release: Produce complete manufacturing packages, including fabrication drawings, assembly files, and release documentation.
• Supplier & Prototype Support: Coordinate directly with fabrication/assembly vendors during prototype builds and resolve technical queries.
• Library Management: Build and maintain standardized PCB components and footprint libraries following IPC guidelines.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (B.E. / B.Tech).
• Technical Experience: Proven background in multi-layer PCB layout, high-speed board design, stack-up development, and assembly processes.
• Manufacturing Knowledge: In-depth understanding of SMT/PTH technologies, IPC standards, DFM/DFA principles, and fabrication workflows.
• EDA Tools: Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, and AutoCAD.
• Execution & Ownership: Demonstrated ability to independently take designs from concept to Gerber release and handle technical supplier discussions.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points):

• Experience with High-Speed Digital, RF, or Mixed-Signal layout design.
• Understanding of Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with CAM350, Windchill/PDMLink, and ECO/ECN processes.
• Familiarity with connector systems, cable assemblies, and PCB yield optimization.
• Experience in Altium/Allegro scripting, SKILL, or design automation.
