Job summary

Artech in Hyderabad is seeking a payroll professional with 5–10 years of hands-on experience in India payroll processing and statutory compliance to manage end-to-end payroll operations.

The role requires expertise in EPF, EPS, EDLI, ECR, PF challans and reconciliation, plus strong Excel skills and proficiency with payroll software, HRMS, and statutory portals to ensure timely and accurate filings.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in India payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of EPF, EPS, EDLI, ECR, PF challans, and contribution reconciliation.
• Understanding of PF arrears, Section 7Q interest, and Section 14B damages.
• Knowledge of Indian income-tax slabs, tax regimes, salary TDS calculations, and year-end reconciliation.
• Experience with full and final settlements, salary revisions, payroll adjustments, and statutory reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel with formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and reconciliation reports.
• Experience with payroll software, HRMS platforms, and statutory portals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience with payroll accounting, general ledger reconciliation, and month-end closing.
• Ability to independently manage payroll deadlines and resolve complex payroll discrepancies.
