Job summary

Intelizign Lifecycle Services in Pune is seeking a Senior Oracle DBA/Developer with 5+ years of hands-on Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and production support. You will manage Oracle databases, perform installations and upgrades, monitor health and performance, and optimize queries in a Linux/Unix environment.

Responsibilities include backup/recovery (RMAN), security, migrations, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience.
Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration.
Excellent knowledge of Oracle Performance Tuning.
Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL.
Strong experience in Linux/Unix environments (preferred).
Experience with RMAN Backup & Recovery.
Good understanding of Oracle database architecture.
Experience in database troubleshooting and production support.
Knowledge of database monitoring and performance analysis.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and administer Oracle databases in development, test, and production environments.
Perform Oracle database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery.
Monitor database health, availability, performance, and capacity.
Perform SQL and database performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing, execution plans, and database parameters.
Troubleshoot database performance issues, locking, blocking, deadlocks, and connectivity issues.
Handle RMAN backup and recovery and ensure database backup integrity.
Work on database security, user management, roles, privileges, and access controls.
Support database migrations, upgrades, and production deployments.
Work closely with application and development teams to identify and resolve database-related issues.
Write and optimize SQL/PLSQL queries and stored procedures where required.
Perform database monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
Automate routine DBA activities using scripting wherever possible.
