Job summary

Buxton Consulting seeks a Sr. Oracle EBS / Applications DBA to manage Oracle EBS R12.2.x, OCI, and SQL Server DBA tasks in a Remote or Hyderabad (Hybrid) setup in India. 8+ years of experience and strong communication are required.

Responsibilities include RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, upgrades, migrations, cloning, and performance tuning while ensuring high availability and disaster recovery. Immediate start preferred with a 30-day notice.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Core DBA Administration, including RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN.
• Solid experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.x administration and support.
• OCI experience is mandatory, including Compute, Storage, Networking, and DB services.
• Strong MS SQL Server DBA experience including admin, tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle Core DBA and EBS R12.2.x in production environments.
• Manage RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, upgrades, migrations, and cloning.
• Perform performance tuning and disaster recovery planning.
• Oversee OCI services and cloud migrations.
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.

• Knowledge or hands-on experience with AI-driven database administration, database automation, AI-assisted monitoring, performance optimization, or implementation of AI solutions within database environments is highly desirable.
