Job summary

Buxton Consulting is seeking a Sr. Oracle EBS / Applications DBA with 8+ years of experience. The role offers Remote or Hyderabad (Hybrid) work in India, and requires immediate joining. Expect full-time employment with rotational PST support hours and a 30-day notice period.

The ideal candidate will lead Oracle Core DBA, EBS R12.2.x administration, OCI exposure, and strong MSSQL Server DBA capabilities, plus excellent communication and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Core DBA Administration, including Oracle RAC, Data Guard and RMAN.
• Solid experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2.x administration and support.
• OCI experience mandatory, covering Compute, Storage, Networking and Database services.
• Advanced Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience with tuning, backups, recovery and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; proactive attitude.

Job Description:

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Core DBA Administration, including:

• Experience with Oracle Exadata administration and performance optimization.

Emerging Technology Skills:

• Knowledge or hands-on experience with AI-driven database administration, database automation, AI-assisted monitoring, performance optimization, or implementation of AI solutions within database environments is highly desirable.
