Job summary

Cep-holland, a Netherlands-headquartered industrial group, seeks a Senior Odoo Functional Consultant to own data migration, ERP configuration, and multi-country deployment using Odoo v20. This remote role spans several international markets, with intercompany structures, currencies, and complex inventory/workshop processes.

You will work closely with business teams and developers to map data, migrate from SAP Business One and legacy Odoo, and deliver robust, auditable processes with Go-live

Senior Odoo Functional Consultant

Remote / Work from Home Full-time Multi-country industrial group

We're a Netherlands-headquartered industrial group. We distribute spare parts and complete-machine solutions for leading engine, driveline, filtration, and equipment brands, running service and workshop operations across several international markets. We are starting up Odoo Enterprise v20 directly as the operational backbone for the whole groupconnecting multiple entities (including CEP-Holland and AVIServ) into one unified system. A critical part of this initiative involves configuring Odoo v20 and migrating historical operational and financial data from both SAP Business One and legacy Odoo environments.

This is a functional and data implementation role. You'll spend your time with the business: understanding how parts move, how a repair job runs, how a sales order makes or loses moneyand how sales orders generate margin, while taking full ownership of database mapping, data cleansing, and seamless migration into Odoo v20. You'll work alongside our developers, our head-office team. It's remote, hands-on, and high-impact.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

• Group Structure: Design and configure Odoo across several legal entities, multiple countries, and currencies. Establish company, country, and brand hierarchies so every part and sale traces back to its exact origin including intercompany transactions.
• Data Migration & Database Strategy: Lead end-to-end data extraction, mapping, transformation, cleansing, and loading (ETL) from legacy SAP Business One and legacy Odoo databases into Odoo v20. Verify database integrity, historical ledger balances, master data (parts, customers, vendors), and open transactional data.
• Inventory & Parts Management: Map end-to-end inventory workflows, including parts master data, cross-referencing (supersessions/alternates), multi-warehouse stock, inventory valuation, reorder logic, serial tracking, and intercompany transfers.
• Service & Workshop Operations: Build out service projects, job cards, Field Service Management (technician scheduling, mobile data capture, on-site jobs), workshop repair flows, warranty management, and labor/parts tracking against jobs.
• Profitability & Reporting Layer: Configure dashboards and pivot views delivering clear financial visibilitymargin by product, sales order, brand, country, and customer. We manage on true profitability, not just turnover.
• Process Engineering, Security & SOPs: Document current operational workflows, translate them into Odoo standard operating procedures (SOPs), and configure core database permissions, user security, access rights, and multi-level approval workflows.
• Change Management and Go live: Lead key-user training, perform mock migration runs, support go-live transitions, and maintain practical, user-friendly documentation.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 8 to 15 years of hands-on experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant, ideally in industrial distribution, spare parts, or field service environments.
• Hands-on Data & Database Experience: Strong proficiency in SQL / PostgreSQL, database schema mapping, data cleansing tools, and data migration methodologies (including migration scripts and Odoo import tools).
• Direct experience migrating complete enterprise datasets from SAP Business One to Odoo and executing Odoo-to-Odoo data transfers.
• Strong operational command of core modules: Inventory, Sales, Purchase, Accounting, Project, Field Service, and Repair / Maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience implementing multi-company, multi-currency, and multi-country setups.
• High proficiency in building custom Odoo dashboards, financial reporting, and profitability analyses.
• Excellent requirement‑gathering skills, clear documentation, and the ability to liaise seamlessly between business stakeholders and developers.
• Fluent written and spoken English with comfort working in cross‑border European and Indian teams.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business/Logistics, or equivalent practical experience.

NICE TO HAVE

• Exposure to SAP Business One mapping workflows or handling data interfaces between Odoo and SAP B1).
• Official Odoo certification.

Proven track record of taking an international group's ERP from ground zero to go-live.

THE PRACTICAL BITS

• Engagement: full-time. Initially a one-year contract, extendable, with a permanent pathway.
• Location: Remote / work from home. Base cities Mumbai, Pune or Bangalore etc..
• Compensation: Rs 10–15 LPA, depending on experience.
