Job summary

Bora Multicorp, Pune-based group implementing Odoo v18 Enterprise, is seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to own the ERP ecosystem. You will ensure reliability and scalability across entities, working with leadership and our implementation partner to deliver measurable business value.

You will bridge business users and the partner, drive user adoption, validate data migrations, configure modules, and support reports and dashboards post go-live.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant, preferably with Enterprise Edition.
• Strong understanding of multi-company ERP environments.
• Functional expertise across Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, and Accounting modules.
• Experience working with external implementation or support partners, including requirement definition and issue tracking.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and translate requirements into ERP solutions.
• Excellent documentation and process-management skills.
• Ability to independently manage a live production ERP environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the functional administration of Odoo v18 Enterprise across multiple group companies.
• Configure modules, workflows, user roles, permissions, and business processes while maintaining consistency across entities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Bora Multicorp and implementation/support partners for enhancements, issue resolution, change requests, and project delivery.
• Validate master data, transactional data, and migration quality across customers, vendors, products, and financial records.
• Gather business requirements from Finance, Procurement, Sales, Inventory, and Operations teams and translate them into functional specs.
• Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, release readiness, and production rollouts.
• Monitor ERP performance and identify opportunities to simplify workflows and improve user experience.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, UAT scripts, and training materials.
• Manage user access, security roles, and governance across all entities.
• Provide first-level functional support and determine when issues require vendor escalation.
• Support finance and leadership with ERP-based reports, dashboards, and operational insights.
• Ensure ERP processes remain compliant with evolving business and statutory requirements.

Bora Multicorp is a diversified business group operating across multiple entities with a unified Odoo v18 Enterprise ERP platform. Our implementation is entering a critical phase, with core data migration substantially complete and business units moving into production.

We're looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to become the internal owner of our ERP ecosystem. This role is responsible for ensuring the platform remains reliable, scalable, and aligned with business operations across the group.

You'll work directly with leadership and act as the bridge between business users and our implementation partner, ensuring the ERP continues to deliver measurable business value long after go-live.

What You'll Work On

As the Functional Owner of our Odoo platform, you will:

• Own the functional administration of Odoo v18 Enterprise across multiple group companies
• Configure modules, workflows, user roles, permissions, and business processes while maintaining consistency across entities
• Serve as the primary liaison between Bora Multicorp and implementation/support partners for enhancements, issue resolution, change requests, and project delivery
• Validate master data, transactional data, and migration quality, including customers, vendors, products, chart of accounts, inventory, opening balances, receivables, payables, and financial records
• Gather business requirements from Finance, Procurement, Sales, Inventory, Logistics, and Operations teams, translating them into clear functional specifications
• Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, release readiness, and production rollouts
• Monitor ERP performance and identify opportunities to simplify workflows, strengthen controls, and improve user experience
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, UAT scripts, training materials, and change logs
• Manage user access, security roles, and governance across all entities
• Provide first-level functional support while determining when issues require vendor escalation
• Support finance and leadership with ERP-based reports, dashboards, and operational insights
• Ensure ERP processes remain compliant with evolving business and statutory requirements

What We're Looking For

Required

• Hands-on experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant, preferably with Enterprise Edition
• Experience working with Odoo v17 or v18 implementations
• Strong understanding of multi-company ERP environments
• Functional expertise across Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, and Accounting modules
• Solid understanding of Chart of Accounts, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Valuation, Stock Management, Trial Balance, and Financial Reporting
• Experience working with external implementation or support partners, including requirement definition, issue tracking, escalation management, and delivery follow-up
• Ability to work directly with senior business stakeholders and translate operational requirements into ERP solutions
• Strong documentation and process management skills
• Ability to independently manage a live production ERP environment
