Job summary

Softhealer Technologies Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Senior Odoo Functional Consultant to understand business processes and gather client requirements for effective Odoo solutions.

You will independently manage client interactions, perform GAP analysis, and prepare functional docs and SOWs, coordinating with technical and testing teams across the implementation lifecycle. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience and a background in Business Administration, IT, CS, Engineering, or Commerce, with Odoo

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Odoo functional consulting.
• Strong knowledge of core Odoo modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, Project, POS & HRMS).
• Ability to prepare functional docs and SOWs with clear requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gather, understand, and analyze client requirements.
• Conduct independent client meetings and requirement sessions.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend Odoo solutions.
• Prepare detailed requirement documents and GAP analysis.
• Identify gaps and customization needs and prepare the Scope of Work (SOW).
• Maintain functional documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with technical teams to communicate functional requirements.
• Test and validate developed features against requirements.
• Coordinate with QA/testing teams for successful delivery of functional requirements.
• Manage and validate data import activities.
• Conduct system demonstrations and user training sessions for clients.
• Provide functional support and resolve client queries.
• Support UAT and Go-Live activities.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce , or a related field.
• Relevant Odoo functional certification or implementation experience will be an added advantage.

Must Haves

• Strong functional knowledge of the following Odoo modules: Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, Project, Point of Sale (POS) & HRMS
• Strong requirement-gathering and business process analysis skills.
• Ability to independently conduct client meetings and requirement discussions.
• Strong understanding of GAP analysis and identification of customization requirements.
• Ability to prepare clear and structured functional documentation and SOWs .
• Ability to test and validate developed features against business requirements.
• Knowledge of Odoo data import and validation processes.
