Hummingbird Scientific is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Precision Design to join our Hyderabad team and contribute to the development ofadvanced scientific instruments used in electron microscopy, materials science,and advanced imaging. This role is ideal for experienced professionals with abackground in precision engineering or mechatronics. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Precision Design at HummingbirdScientific, you'll be a part of a close-knit, global engineering team. You’lltake full ownership of designing and testing complete mechanical / mechatronicssystems - from initial concept through final release. You'll collaborate withinterdisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists across the globe.

Requirements

Key Qualifications

• Demonstrateddesign experience in precision engineering
• 2D/3D CAD expertise –SolidWorks or equivalent
• Strong understanding ofmechanical design principles (Kinematics, Dynamics, System Design)
• Proficiencywith mechanical drawings and GD&T
• Committedindividual who takes ownership of projects and timeline

Education and Experience

• BSin Mechanical Engineering or related field, MS or PhD is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in Mechanical Design
• Background in mechatronics or precision engineering is a plus
