Job summary

Nagarro is seeking an experienced Senior MDM Consultant to design, implement, and optimize enterprise MDM solutions in India. Lead end-to-end projects, onboard data sources, and model governance to deliver scalable data platforms.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with Reltio or Informatica MDM, data quality, and integration using Python or Java, with a preference for Life Sciences domain and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in Master Data Management.
• Experience delivering at least two end-to-end MDM implementation projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Reltio MDM (preferred) or Informatica MDM; data modeling and quality expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of enterprise MDM solutions, onboard new data sources, and design data ingestion pipelines.
• Configure and optimize MDM data models, relationships, hierarchies, and transactional models.
• Tune match rules, survivorship, merge strategies, and data quality rules.
• Develop integration components using Python or Java for ingestion, transformation, validation, and downstream consumption.
• Design and optimize batch and real-time integrations via REST APIs and ETL tools.
• Troubleshoot data quality, matching, duplicates, and performance issues.
• Improve platform performance including indexing, data loads, and exports.
• Collaborate with business/technical teams to translate requirements into scalable MDM solutions.
• Prepare technical design documents and support deployment activities.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior MDM Consultant with strong expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) to design, implement, and optimize enterprise MDM solutions.

The ideal candidate should have successfully delivered at least two end-to-end MDM implementations, possess strong experience in data modeling, match & merge, survivorship, and data quality, and be capable of leading technical teams. Experience in the Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical domain and proficiency in Python (preferred) or Java are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of enterprise MDM solutions, including onboarding new data sources, designing and implementing data ingestion pipelines, processing data through various transformation and validation layers, loading data into the MDM platform, and enabling data distribution to downstream applications and analytics systems.
• Design and configure MDM data models, including entities, relationships, hierarchies, and transactional data models.
• Configure and optimize match rules, survivorship, merge strategies, and data quality rules.
• Develop integration components using Python (preferred) or Java for data ingestion, transformation, validation, delta detection, and downstream data consumption.
• Design and optimize batch and real-time integrations using REST APIs and ETL tools.
• Troubleshoot data quality, matching, duplicate record, merge, and performance-related issues.
• Optimize platform performance, including indexing, API performance, data loads, and export processes.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable MDM solutions.
• Prepare technical design documents and support deployment activities.

Must-Have Skills

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Master Data Management.
• Experience delivering at least two end-to-end MDM implementation projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Reltio MDM (preferred) or Informatica MDM.
• Proficiency in Python (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, match & merge, survivorship, data quality, and transactional data management.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and authentication mechanisms such as OAuth.
• Experience with data integration tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Reltio Integration Hub (RIH), or similar ETL platforms.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers.
• Experience in the Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical domain is preferred.
