Support and supervise all in-house manufacturing activitiesto enable faster new product development and enhance the productivity ofexisting parts. This role provides opportunities to introduce and implementbest manufacturing practices, creating value for both self and theorganization. Requirements

1. Manufacturing& Process Planning:

Ø Definedmanufacturing processes/operations for machined components by interpretingdrawings with respect to GD&T and tolerances.

Ø GeneratedCNC programs using CAM software, and released supporting documentation (processsheets, tool lists, program sheets) to the development team.

Ø DevelopedFA (First Article) parts within specified time frames and handed them over toproduction.

Ø Providedinputs to the process engineering team for stage drawing preparation, validatedstage drawings as per final requirements.

Ø Designedjigs and fixtures for machining using CAD software; supported production toachieve required OEE by increasing productivity without compromising quality.

Ø Conductedand participated in MFIR (Manufacturing Feasibility Inspection Review) meetingswith cross-functional teams, tracked and closed action items.

Ø Ownedallocated NPD (New Product Development) parts/projects and delivered good partsto internal customers within agreed timelines.

Ø Incorporatedprocess improvements based on CFT feedback to enhance part quality andproductivity.

Ø Ledroute card closure meetings for all NPD parts with cross-functional teams.

2. CuttingTools:

Ø Collaboratedwith cutting tool experts to select optimal cutting tools and validate cuttingparameters for specific operations.

Ø Supportedthe tool crib in achieving the estimated CPC (Cost per Component).

Ø Uploadedand maintained required data in ERP systems for parts, fixtures, tools, andengineering documents.

Ø Ensuredcompliance with AS9100 standards and traceability requirements.

4. Quality:

Ø Assistedin preparing control plans and inspection plans.

Ø Recommendedappropriate instruments and inspection methods to ensure product quality.

5. Process

Ø Goodunderstanding of manufacturing processes such as milling, turning, grinding,boring, tapping, EDM, and WEDM.

Ø Exposureto casting, forging, and plating processes.

Ø Knowledgeof basic quality tools, measuring instruments, and inspection methodologies.

Education& Experience:

Ø Education: Diploma(Polytechnic/NTTF/GTTC) or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 8–10 yearsof manufacturing experience, preferably in the aerospace industry or low-batchproduction environment.

Ø Experience: Minimum3–5 years of strong experience in CNC programming using NX, Solid CAM, orMaster CAM. (NTTF and GTTC candidates will have an added advantage.)

Ø Hands-on expertise in programming 3, 4, and 5-axis partswith controllers such as Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Haas, Siemens, WinMax (Hurco), andHeidenhain.

Ø Proficiency in process mapping for machined parts andfixture design.

Ø Strong knowledge and application of GD&T (GeometricDimensioning & Tolerancing).

Ø Sound understanding of inspection methodology and use ofappropriate quality tools/instruments

Preferred Certifications:

Ø GD&T(Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Certification – ASME Y14.5

Ø AS9100 Quality Management System Training (Aerospaceindustry standard)

Ø CNC Programming & Operations Certification – Fanuc /Mitsubishi / Haas

Ø ProjectManagement Professional (PMP) or equivalent manufacturing project managementcredential
