Wipro is seeking a Senior Manager - Training & Capability Development in Hyderabad to lead end-to-end capability development, learning strategy, certification governance, nesting, and workforce readiness for Mapping, Labelling, Geospatial, and AI Data Operations. The role demands 12–18+ years in Training and strong leadership of large training teams.

• 12–18+ years of experience in Training, Learning & Development, Capability Development, or Workforce Readiness.
• Proven experience leading large training teams and multi-layered leadership structures.
• Experience supporting large-scale operations, rapid ramps, cross-skilling initiatives, and capability transformation programs.
• Strong client-facing experience, governance reviews, MBRs, QBRs, and executive stakeholder management.

Wipro is looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Training & Capability Development to lead end-to-end capability development, learning strategy, certification governance, nesting, and workforce readiness for our Mapping, Labelling, Geospatial, and AI Data Operations business.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall training and capability development strategy across multiple business units.
• Lead curriculum governance, certification frameworks, assessments, and workforce readiness programs.
• Own training effectiveness, nesting, speed-to-proficiency, and post-training business outcomes.
• Manage and develop a large training organization comprising Managers, SMEs, Training Leads, and 100+ trainers.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Recruitment, HR, WFM, and Client stakeholders to ensure capability alignment with business goals.
• Drive transformation initiatives through analytics, automation, AI-enabled learning solutions, and continuous improvement programs.

What We're Looking For

• 12-18+ years of experience in Training, Learning & Development, Capability Development, or Workforce Readiness.
• Proven experience leading large training teams and multi-layered leadership structures.
• Experience supporting large-scale operations, rapid ramps, cross-skilling initiatives, and capability transformation programs.
• Strong client-facing experience, including governance reviews, MBRs, QBRs, and executive stakeholder management.
• Ability to translate operational performance data into impactful learning interventions and business outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Geospatial Operations
• Computer Vision Operations

Preferred certifications include Lean Six Sigma, Instructional Design, Change Management, Project Management, or related learning certifications.
