Job summary

Pegasus International is seeking an experienced leader to manage Third-Party Manufacturing operations, ensuring manufacturing excellence, quality compliance, cost optimization, and timely delivery from external partners. You will drive planning, coordination across Demand Planning, Procurement and Sales, and collaborate with R&D for new product introductions.

The role requires deep knowledge of FMCG food manufacturing, strong project and stakeholder management, and the ability to optimize

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in Third-Party Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Operations.
• Strong FMCG Food Manufacturing experience (sauces, ketchup, dips, mayonnaise, dressings, ready-to-eat).
• Experience handling multiple TPM locations.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems and commercial negotiations.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Third-Party Manufacturing operations with external partners.
• Coordinate production planning and scheduling with TPM sites and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards (FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, ISO).
• Negotiate manufacturing agreements and monitor costs and budgets.
• Support new product development, trials, scale-up and launches with R&D and Operations.
• Develop and review partner performance through regular reviews and escalations.

Job Purpose

To lead and manage Third-Party Manufacturing operations by ensuring manufacturing excellence, quality compliance, cost optimization, capacity planning, and timely delivery from external manufacturing partners.

Key Responsibilities

Third-Party Manufacturing Management

• Manage end-to-end operations with third-party manufacturing partners.
• Identify, onboard, and develop new manufacturing partners.
• Ensure adherence to production plans, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor manufacturing performance through defined KPIs.

Production Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with Demand Planning, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Sales teams.
• Ensure material availability and production scheduling at TPM sites.
• Monitor production output and capacity utilization.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, ISO, and company quality standards.
• Conduct regular audits and corrective action reviews.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives across TPM locations.

Commercial & Cost Management

• Negotiate manufacturing agreements and commercial terms.
• Monitor manufacturing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to agreed budgets and productivity targets.

New Product Development Support

• Collaborate with R&D and Operations teams for new product commercialization.
• Support trial runs, scale-up activities, and successful product launches.

Vendor Relationship Management

• Develop strong relationships with manufacturing partners.
• Conduct regular business reviews and performance evaluations.
• Resolve operational challenges and escalations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10 to 15 years of experience in Third-Party Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Operations.
• Strong experience in FMCG Food Manufacturing (Sauces, Ketchup, Dips, Mayonnaise, Dressings, Ready-to-Eat, Processed Foods preferred).
• Experience handling multiple TPM locations.
