Position Summary

As a Senior Manager within the Subtitling Coordination team, you will lead the execution of subtitling projects for Deluxe, ensuring adherence to defined quality standards and on-time delivery. You will oversee project governance, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to drive alignment and accountability across workflows. This role requires strong experience in navigating cross-functional environments and leading global projects, ensuring seamless coordination and operational excellence across regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and be accountable for the overall operational performance across assigned language streams and teams.
• Escalate and address team-raised issues at a strategic level, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Act as the global point of contact for all coordination-related matters across designated language pools.
• Provide leadership, oversight, and direction to the team in alignment with Deluxe policies and procedures.
• Lead department-level reporting and presentations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and clarity of all data.
• Partner closely with Managers to ensure effective resource planning, including timely backfills and optimal team utilization.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g., Production Managers, Order Management) through regular touchpoints to align on workflows, share insights, and review case studies.
• Drive clear, consistent, and effective communication within the team, ensuring adherence to best practices across all internal and external interactions.
• Work closely with GTM teams to gather user feedback and ensure delivery of high-quality customer service.
• Contribute to and lead initiatives that support team effectiveness and broader organizational goals.
• Mentor and develop Managers, supporting their progression to the next level of leadership.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports, addressing concerns proactively and through appropriate channels.
• Facilitate skip-level meetings to gather team feedback and partner with HRBPs to drive actionable outcomes.
• Oversee workforce planning, including scheduling, leave management, coverage, and overtime, ensuring consistency and compliance.
• Deliver structured performance management, including recognition, rewards, and disciplinary actions in partnership with Human Resources.
• Collaborate with Managers, HRBPs, and ER teams to address employee-related matters effectively and through the appropriate frameworks.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in film, media production, communications, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in project coordination or management, with a track record of successfully leading teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members and foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage conflict, negotiate agreements, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Sfera, Jira) preferred.
