Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years in a managerial role with team mentoring.
• Strong Agile or Scrum understanding and software release oversight.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies and full-stack web tech.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Node.js, Angular/React.
• Experience with APIs (SOAP/REST), XML/JSON, and SOA.
• Database experience with SQL Server/MySQL/MongoDB and messaging (RabbitMQ).

• Lead a software development team
• Develop and enhance software development practices and build a culture of continuous improvement
• Lead diverse project teams and make critical technology decisions aligned with strategic objectives
• Participate in solution-design reviews and guide teams toward creative and effective outcomes
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders on product roadmaps
• Translate business requirements into robust technical strategies
• Drive recruitment, team building, mentoring, and development of a high-performing software engineering team
• Evaluate and strategically reduce technical debt
• Champion AI-first engineering practices across the software development lifecycle
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development, testing, documentation, code review, and operational workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 2 years in a managerial role
• Proven experience mentoring and leading teams
• Strong understanding of Agile or Scrum
• Experience overseeing software releases
• Extensive experience with AWS or other cloud technologies
• Experience with Microsoft/.NET technologies, .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#.NET, VB.NET
• Experience with full-stack technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js, and Angular or React
• Experience with APIs, integration, and data formats including SOAP, REST, SOA, XML, XSL, and JSON
• Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB
• Experience with RabbitMQ and SNS/SQS
• Experience with Jenkins, SAML SSO, OAuth, and OIDC
• Experience with AI tools and agents including Rovo, Copilot, Git-Copilot, and Claude
• Champion AI-first engineering practices across the SDLC
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development, testing, documentation, code review, and operational workflows
• Evaluate and implement emerging AI technologies, frameworks, agents, and engineering productivity tools
