Job summary

MassMutual Global Business Services India LLP in Hyderabad seeks a senior leader to establish and run the AI Platform Engineering team, while guiding RPA initiatives and data engineering projects. The role partners with US teams to align with MM's ETX strategy and drive cross‑functional collaboration.

The successful candidate will shape best practices, address skill gaps, mentor managers, and oversee budget and staffing for MM India’s R&D functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead establishing the new AI Platform Engineering team.
• Support execution of an RPA program, including bot development and ROps support across the bot portfolio.
• Lead the Data Engineering team in executing projects.
• Provide technical leadership and liaison between R&D leadership and GBS teams.
• Ensure close collaboration between US and India in line with ETX vision and strategies.
• Implement best practices in collaboration with R&D leadership.
• Identify and address process inefficiencies and skill gaps to improve India team performance.
• Support budget, staffing, and organizational planning for the R&D team in MM India.
• Act as a people leader for the team and provide guidance to teams.
• Coach and mentor first-line managers to grow in their roles.
• Act as escalation point for people-related issues.
• Enhance security awareness across MMI.
• Lead performance reviews and compensation planning.
