Job summary

Khazana Jewellery Pvt. Ltd. in India seeks an experienced Civil QS with 12–15 years in retail interior fit-out to manage BOQ, cost control, and procurement across Green & Brown field projects.

You will coordinate pre- and post-tender activities, prepare cost analyses, and support negotiations with vendors and contractors while maintaining confidentiality of costs.

Qualifications

• BE Civil with 12–15 years of experience in retail interior fit-out projects.
• Prepare BOQ for Civil, Interiors, Façade and MEP for green & brown field projects.
• Coordinate pre- and post-tender QS and procurement for materials and clarifications.
• Strong knowledge of market rates and cost control; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain material tracker, cost forecasts, and budgets.
• Assist Contracts Manager in pre-qualification of vendors and in negotiations.
• Support weekly meetings on scope, exclusions, penalties, and risks.
• Attend evaluations and prepare technical/commercial comparatives with line manager.
• Maintain contracts and purchase orders; track cash flow and cost control.

Job description

• Prepare BOQ includes Civil, Interiors, Façade and MEP for both Green & Brown field projects.


• Co-ordinate and Support both pre and post tender QS and purchase team for material supplies and technical clarifications for any awarded job.


• Prepare rate analysis and a strong knowledge in the market rates.


• Maintain confidentiality & Integrity on all Project costs and Budgets.


• Assist the Contracts manager in Pre-qualification process of the vendor


• Assist the Contracts Manager to prepare and track the Cash Flow & Cost control


• Assist Contracts manager during weekly meeting for scope inclusion, exclusions, duration, penalties and risks.


• Attending meetings with the Line manager to close out the technical and commercial evaluation of the contractors.


• Assist Line manager to prepare the technical and commercial comparatives.


• Assist the line manager to call and attend the negotiation meetings, take meeting notes and officially circulate it to all stake holders.


• Prepare and maintain material tracker, weekly & monthly cost forecasts.


• Maintain the contracts and purchase orders.


• Maintain the historical records of budget vs achieved.


• Mandatory working knowledge in AUTOCAD, MS Project.

Desired candidate's profile:

• BE Civil with minimum of 12 - 15 years of experience in Retail interior fit-out projects.
