Job summary

Adani Group is seeking a senior Quality leader to head the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with global aerospace and defence standards and regulatory guidelines. You will drive Six Sigma and Lean initiatives, manage supplier quality, audits, and continuous improvement programs to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strategic direction, mentoring of the Quality team, and strong stakeholder collaboration to sustain a high-performance quality

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical from recognized institutes.
• Experience implementing and maintaining a Quality Management System in Aerospace/Defence domains.

Purpose/Objective

• Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with global Aerospace & Defence standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Drive product and process excellence through Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, risk management, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, manage supplier quality performance, develop quality strategies and SOPs, and ensure effective implementation of quality assurance programs to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Key Accountabilities Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and approving Technical and Quality Agreements while ensuring effective investigation and resolution of quality discrepancies, customer complaints, process failures, non-conformities, and adverse events.
• Lead the closure of internal and external audit observations and manage customer, certification, and regulatory audits to ensure compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
• Drive the achievement of quality objectives and key performance indicators through continuous improvement initiatives and effective quality management practices.
• Provide strategic direction, technical guidance, and leadership to the Quality team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
• Oversee team development through coaching, mentoring, training, and resource planning to enhance organizational capability.
• Maintain strong communication and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and professional responses to customer requirements while promoting a positive, quality-focused culture across the organization.
