Job summary

Aequs is seeking a Quality Management System professional to maintain and continuously improve the QMS in line with AS9100 Rev D and ISO 9001. The role involves planning and executing internal audits, managing NCRs and CAPAs, and driving process improvement across manufacturing and engineering teams.

You will monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with aerospace requirements, regulatory standards, and customer specifications while training staff and supporting supplier audits as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting internal audits (process, product, QMS) and supporting customer audits.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies.
• Data analysis and reporting capabilities across QMS processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in line with AS9100 Rev D and ISO 9001.
• Plan and conduct internal audits of processes, products and the QMS.
• Lead NCRs, RCA, CAPA and verify effectiveness.
• Monitor KPIs and process performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, 8D and related tools.
• Train staff on QMS procedures and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and program management.

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System in compliance with AS9100 Rev D, ISO 9001, and aerospace customer requirements.
• Plan and conduct internal process, product, and system audits.
• Facilitate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and effectiveness verification.
• Monitor quality objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and process performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and support risk management activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and other quality tools.
• Train employees on QMS procedures, quality requirements, and audit readiness.
• Support supplier quality management and supplier audit activities when required.
• Participate in management review meetings and prepare quality performance reports.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and program management teams to improve process effectiveness
