Job summary

HMD in Noida seeks an accomplished NPI & Program Management leader to drive new product programs from concept through manufacturing readiness, commercial launch, and ramp-up.

You will coordinate R&D, Product, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to deliver launches on time, within quality, cost, and volume targets while guiding cross-functional teams and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of relevant experience in NPI, NPD, program/project management or manufacturing operations.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end product launches and manufacturing ramp-ups.
• Strong understanding of NPI processes, manufacturing readiness, stage-gate governance, FPY, yield and capacity management.
• Excellent program management, risk management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end new product programs, defining milestones and launch plans with EMS/ODM partners.
• Drive NPI and manufacturing readiness across prototype/pilot builds to mass production.
• Ensure readiness of people, equipment, materials, methods and measurement, including capacity and tooling.
• Proactively manage schedule, quality, cost and supply risks, driving timely issue resolution.
• Own production ramp-up, tracking FPY, yield and capacity while addressing bottlenecks.
• Lead complex cross-functional programs and provide clear progress visibility to senior leadership.
• Drive improvements in Time-to-Market, launch quality and operational efficiency.

We are looking for an accomplished NPI & Program Management leader to drive new product programs from concept and development through manufacturing readiness, commercial launch, production ramp-up and stabilization.

You will bring together R&D, Product, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement and other stakeholders to deliver successful launches against time, quality, cost and volume objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end new product programs, defining milestones, critical paths, governance and launch plans. Closely partnering with the EMS/ODM partners.
• Drive NPI and manufacturing readiness across prototype/pilot builds, PVT, mass production and stabilization.
• Ensure readiness across people, equipment, materials, methods and measurement, including capacity, tooling, testing and processes.
• Proactively manage schedule, quality, cost and supply risks, driving timely resolution of critical issues.
• Own production ramp-up, tracking FPY, yield, defects, productivity and capacity while addressing bottlenecks.
• Lead complex cross-functional programs and provide clear visibility of progress, risks and decisions to senior leadership.
• Drive improvements in Time-to-Market, launch quality, ramp-up speed and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications / Eligibility

• 10 – 15 years of relevant experience in NPI, NPD, Program/Project Management or Manufacturing Operations.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end product launches and manufacturing ramp-ups.
• Strong understanding of NPI processes, manufacturing readiness, stage-gate governance, FPY, yield and capacity management.
