Job summary

Nokia is seeking an R&D Hardware Project Manager in Bengaluru to drive end-to-end hardware development for NIghtpath/Coherent Optical Modules. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a hybrid work environment, balancing office collaboration with remote focus time.

You will lead project scheduling, risk management, milestone tracking, and supplier coordination while delivering on time and within scope, contributing to Nokia's advanced connectivity solutions.

Qualifications

• B.Eng./B.Sc. in Electrical, Mechanical, CS or related field.
• 5+ years hardware project or product management experience.
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within scope.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with MS Project and Excel for planning.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage hardware development schedules.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and manage timeline risks.
• Track and report milestones and weekly progress to stakeholders.
• Identify issues and develop mitigation plans.
• Coordinate prototype hardware builds and manage supplier POs.
