Job summary

Piramal Pharma Ltd is seeking a Senior Manager - Operational Excellence to drive Lean Sigma and TPM on the shop floor. You will collaborate with the Site Head and leadership team to lead the transformation journey and sustain improvements across manufacturing operations.

You will actively coach leaders, run TPM trainings, promote standardization, and implement maintenance systems. The role emphasizes change management, cross-functional collaboration, and visible results aligned with the plant

Qualifications

• BE/BTech degree from a recognised university.
• Experience in Lean Sigma/TPM on shop floor.
• Experience in leading TPM activities and training.
• Ability to mentor leaders and drive cultural change.

Responsibilities

• Actively support TPM activities on the shop floor.
• Lead promotion campaigns and coach leaders for Operational Excellence.
• Assess implementation progress and coordinate TPM trainings.
• Promote cross-fertilization of ideas, standards and improvements.
• Develop and implement maintenance systems and processes at site.
• Motivate people and drive change in traditional mind-sets.
• Communicate TPM activities and results; link to plant vision.
• Provide feedback on TPM progress to Steering Committee.
• Conduct training for daily management tools and Lean Sigma (Green Belt).
• Lead 5S initiatives on shop floor and offices.
• Identify training needs and organize mass involvement themes.
• Organize rewards/events and external competition participation.

Senior Manager - Operational Excellence

OE Divisional/ site expert on the Lean Sigma & TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodology. Lead the change process by working closely with the Site Head and the rest of Site Leadership Team in their journey of shop floor transformation.

Job Description

• Actively support the teams in the TPM activities on the shop floor.
• Lead the Promotion Campaign, coach leaders & team members for Op. Excellence in the factory
• Assessment of the implementation progress. Conduct/ coordinate TPM trainings at all levels.
• Promote and support cross-fertilization of ideas, knowledge, standards and improvements. Coordinate the support from external consultants if applicable.
• Develop & implement maintenance systems & processes at site.
• Motivate and empower people through positive attitude and stimulate change in traditional mind-set.
• Communicate TPM activities and results. Ensure that TPM work is impacting both results and the culture change towards the vision as determined by the plant.
• Provide feedback on progress of TPM to Steering Committee.
• Conduct the training for daily management tools.
• Conduct training for Lean sigma (Green Belt training).
• Lead the 5s initiatives at Shop floor and Offices.
• Identification individual training needs.
• Design and Launch themes for mass involvement and time bound improvement.
• Set the criteria for different R&R scheme and certification of teams.
• Organize the functions for reward and recognition events.
