Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager - Maintenance at its Sri City, Andhra Pradesh site. The role oversees electrical maintenance for utilities, production, and admin, driving preventive maintenance, repairs, and uptime across facilities.

The ideal candidate has 18–20 years in electrical maintenance within fabrication/industrial environments, with expertise in welding, HV/LV distribution, PLCs, HVAC, and safety systems.

Qualifications

• BE Electrical Engineering with background in fabrication industries and production facilities.
• 18 to 20 years of experience in maintenance.
• Experience with welding machines MIG, TIG, SAW, SMAW and related equipment.
• Knowledge of high/low voltage distribution, PLC controls, and motor controls.
• Experience with fire safety systems, pumps, and HVAC maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Directs and controls all Electrical maintenance functions for utilities, production and admin.
• Supervises maintenance with the goal of providing quality services, including preventative maintenance, calibration, and repairs.
• Develops and monitors performance plans for Electrical Maintenance equipment.
• Coordinates with stores/purchasing for spare parts and equipment downtime updates.
• Ensures efficient use of materials, manpower and equipment while minimizing downtime.

Job Profile

Position: Senior Manager - Maintenance

Reporting to : Site Leader

Location : Sri City, Tada, Andhra Pradesh (Near Chennai)

Your Experience Should Be...

BE Electrical Engineering with background in Fabrication industries, Production facilities etc. 18 to 20 years of Experience.

Maintenance and Working knowledge on welding machine like MIG , TIG , SAW , SMAW etc , Column and boom ,Dust collection system, ETP and scrubber , EOT Cranes ,Forklift , shot blasting and painting equipment's , shearing machine , pipe bending and plate bending machines , vacuum pump , hydraulic pump etc.

Working knowledge of High / low voltage distribution systems, electrical distribution systems, Relay logic, PLC controls, and motor controls.

Working knowledge on Fire hydrant, sump & Pump etc

Working Knowledge on split AC and HVAC maintenance.

What Will You Do?

• Directs and controls all Electrical maintenance functions for utilities, Production and Admin.
• Supervises Electrical Maintenance with the goal of providing quality maintenance services, including maintaining, calibrating, and repairing manufacturing, warehousing, and site utilities.
• Develop and monitor a performance plan for Electrical Maintenance Equipment's
• Frequently communicates with Electrical Maintenance Supervision to schedule equipment for preventative maintenance/ repairs, as well as expedites and provides updates on equipment downtime.
• Ensures efficient use of materials, manpower, and equipment while minimizing equipment downtime. Works with Electrical Engineer and Maintenance Technicians to identify opportunities to improve production efficiencies.
• Administers and develops assigned personnel by promoting good management/labour relations, ensuring direct reports understand and follow company and department policies, and by providing opportunities for each direct report to grow and develop to their fullest potential.
• Must be flexible in responding to emergencies or changes to assignments and is eager to tackle new or unusual situations. Capable of handling and prioritizing many assignments related to electrical Maintenance.
• Must be able to work other shifts when coverage is needed and provide on-call coverage for weekends/holidays, when assigned.
• Utilizes computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, SAP) for prioritizing and assigning work direction, as well as establishing overtime/weekend requirements.
• Controls coordination with stores and purchasing department for spare parts stoke.
• Coordination along with production team to reduce breakdown time.
