Job summary

Schneider Electric India, Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation unit, seeks a seasoned Sales professional with 8–12 years’ experience in LV/MV switchgear and automation to drive end-user coverage in Rourkela, Jharsuguda, and Sambalpur. The role centers on promoting products, engaging customers, and achieving quarterly CP targets.

You will coordinate with end customers, contractors, and panel builders during pre-tendering, demonstrate digital solutions, and plan activities to grow order win

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech (Electrical) degree required.
• Experience: 8–12 years in sales, preferably in LV/MV switchgear and automation.
• Sales-focused with ability to engage end users, panel builders and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Sell LV/MV switchgear and automation products to industries in Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur.
• Engage end customers, panel builders and contractors during pre-tendering to shape specifications.
• Promote LV switchgear products and digital solutions, IEC61439 panel services.
• Generate orders to achieve CP targets.
• Plan daily activities, create opportunities, and analyze wins/losses; utilize SAP & knowledge portal.
• Understand LV/MV product ranges and applications for customer sites.
• Conduct sales promotions like IPTs, product demos, and seminars.

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:

1. 1. Sales Revenue – Expertise in End user coverage of Industry segment in Rourkela , Jharsuguda , Sambalpur . The candidate should have a sales background. Candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling low and medium voltage switchgear and Automation products.
2. Work with End customers, panel builders and contractors of Rourkela and surroundings during pre-tendering stage for specification and preference generation
3. Extensive promotion of LV Switchgear Products with focus on Digital Products & IEC61439 Panel Solutions
4. Order generation for respective CP to help in Achieving CP Target
5. Daily activity planning, scheduling, opportunity creation, order win/loss analysis, Push to SAP, CACO analysis & usage of knowledge portal etc.
6. Good understanding of Low Voltage & Medium Voltage product range & its application which needs to be utilized at customer places.
7. To conduct sales promotion activities like - IPTs, Product Demos/presentations & Seminars.

Key Competencies:

1. Strong basics of Switchgear product range & its application.
2. Techno-Commercial understanding of Competition product range.
3. Good knowledge of all related Customer within territory
4. Professionalism and Perseverance in the approach
5. Good communication & presentation skills. Good Hindi, English preferable.
6. Time management & customer relationship management
