Job summary

Licious, a Bengaluru-based meat and seafood company, seeks an experienced FP&A professional with 7-9 years post-qualification to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. You will partner with multiple functions, drive strategic cost optimization, and implement advanced analytics tools.

The role requires strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA, Tableau, and Power BI. You will present insights to senior leadership and shape profitability strategies.

Qualifications

• CA/MBA with 7-9 years post-qualification.
• Strong interest in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA, Tableau and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting process with department heads to consolidate budgets.
• Leverage FP&A and business partnering to drive cross-functional alignment.
• Break down complex business dynamics with structured analysis and recommendations.
• Collaborate with technology teams to implement and optimize financial systems.
• Identify opportunities for automation and enhance financial system capabilities.
• Review cost items with business leaders to improve profitability.
• Work with controllership to produce business analytics and insights.
• Perform variance analysis between actual and budgeted performance.
• Develop financial models to analyze performance and guide actions.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and presentations.
• Create and publish management dashboards and KPIs to track performance.
• Support ad-hoc financial analyses and investment evaluations.

What makes the role meaty?

• Leading the annual budgeting process, working with department heads to develop and consolidate budgets.
• To Leverage past experience in FP&A and business partnering to drive cross-functional alignment between diverse functions and business units
• Breaking down complex business dynamics with structured analysis, identify opportunities for growth and deliver recommendations.
• Collaborating with the technology team to implement and optimize financial systems (e.g., ERP software, AI-powered financial tools).
• Identifying opportunities for process automation and work to enhance financial system capabilities.
• Working with business leaders to review key cost items and arrive at strategy and metrics to improve profitability
• Working closely with controllership team to review the cost data and work collaboratively to arrive at the business analytics
• Conducting variance analysis between actual and budgeted financial performance, identifying key trends and discrepancies and work with stakeholders to fix these at the root cause
• Developing financial models to analyze business performance and make data-driven recommendations.
• Leading the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations
• Collecting and analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and business performance improvements.
• Leading the creation and publishing of management dashboards and financial KPIs to track business performance.
• Leading the preparation of financial presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data reporting and analysis.
• Providing support in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
• Participating in the evaluation of investment opportunities and business cases.

• Are a Chartered Accountant /MBA with 7-9 years of post qualification
• Have Strong interest in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
