Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Pune district seeks a CA-qualified accounting professional to manage end-to-end accounting and financial reporting. You will ensure timely book closure and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per Ind AS/IGAAP.

The role includes GST/TSDS/income tax compliance, audit support, and real estate project accounting with inter-company and project cost capitalization. Experience with Tally ERP or SAP is valuable.

Qualifications

• CA qualification and accounting expertise.
• Knowledge of Ind AS/IGAAP preferred.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and ensure timely closure of books.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IGAAP).
• Perform ledger scrutiny and ensure entries are accurate and complete.
• Maintain and reconcile inter-company and inter-project accounts.

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Handle day-to-day accounting and ensure timely closure of books.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IGAAP).
• Perform ledger scrutiny and ensure all entries are accurate and complete.
• Maintain and reconcile inter-company and inter-project accounts.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP / or any leading accounting software.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all statutory tax requirements GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and coordinate for income tax filings.
• Handle assessments, respond to tax notices, and liaise with consultants/auditors as required.

Audit & Finalization

• Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors for smooth and timely audit processes.
• Assist in preparation of audit schedules, financial statements, and annexures.
• Finalization of accounts and ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.

Real Estate Specific Financial Functions

• Work on RERA compliance, project-wise costing, and fund utilization reports.
• Track project profitability, customer collections, and vendor payments.
• Maintain proper accounting of land advances, development rights, and project cost capitalization.
