Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Indore is seeking a CA-qualified professional to manage accounting and financial reporting for real estate and general finance operations. The role focuses on accurate books, statutory compliance, and audit coordination, with exposure to RERA-related reporting.

The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end accounting processes, including tax filings and inter-company reconciliations, ensuring timely financial closures and strong documentation practices.

Qualifications

• CA qualified with strong knowledge of Ind AS/IGAAP.
• Experience in day-to-day accounting and timely closure of books.
• Proficient in statutory compliance including GST, TDS, and income tax filings.
• Experience with RERA and real estate accounting advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and ensure timely closure of books.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per Ind AS/IGAAP.
• Perform ledger scrutiny and reconcile inter-company and inter-project accounts.
• Coordinate with auditors and assist in audit schedules and annexures.
• Manage project costing, fund utilization, and revenue tracking for real estate projects.

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Handle day-to-day accounting and ensure timely closure of books.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IGAAP).
• Perform ledger scrutiny and ensure all entries are accurate and complete.
• Maintain and reconcile inter-company and inter-project accounts.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP / or any leading accounting software.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all statutory tax requirements GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and coordinate for income tax filings.
• Handle assessments, respond to tax notices, and liaise with consultants/auditors as required.

Audit & Finalization

• Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors for smooth and timely audit processes.
• Assist in preparation of audit schedules, financial statements, and annexures.
• Finalization of accounts and ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.

Real Estate Specific Financial Functions

• Work on RERA compliance, project-wise costing, and fund utilization reports.
• Track project profitability, customer collections, and vendor payments.
• Maintain proper accounting of land advances, development rights, and project cost capitalization.
